15th International Conference of the University Librarians Association of Sri Lanka
(ICULA-2025)
on the theme of
"Navigating Disinformation and Misinformation:
What’s Next in Librarianship?"
The University Librarians Association has organized many successful conferences, seminars, and training workshops ever since it was established in the early 1980s. Consequently, its international conference series is organized under various themes and has attracted numerous partners from Sri Lanka and overseas. This year's conference theme is 'Navigating Disinformation and Misinformation: What's next in Librarianship?' which focuses on the prime responsibility of academic librarians to enlighten their users to navigate the ocean of information that is blurred with fake information, especially disinformation and misinformation in academic domains. The conference invites presentations relevant to the theme and sub-themes such as AI tools, research & development, digital citizenship, research ethics, faculty-library collaboration, sustainable library education, metadata schemas, library crisis management and so on. The 15th International Conference of the University Librarians Association (ICULA25) welcomes everyone to share their knowledge and insights connected to the theme.
